Judging was SO hard. I am in love with every single image and all the wonderful perspectives that came with each one. But I had to choose, so my top pick is: Alicja Pietras Photography
This image is strange and captivating, it brought me somewhere. It had me contemplating, it stayed with me. It reminded me of the swelling open heart that children have, and how they blossom as they age from a newborn into the unadulterated well of feeling that is toddlerhood and at some point that bloom will reach crescendo and begin to close as adulthood nears. This image moved me, and for me it suited the theme so perfectly because while I was more than able to come to my own conclusions, it's bizarre and wonderful and clearly interpretative. But choosing an overall favourite was so hard, this is one of the most beautiful invitations into the strange bits of your hearts and I want to thank you all for participating. You are all wonderfully out of the ordinary. And that makes you extraordinary.
