“I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day." ― Vincent Van Gogh Thank you to all the Fantastically Flawed friends who offered up suggestions for this week's theme. Sarah, Holly, and I decided to go with "night" and I am so glad we did. The submissions this week were wonderfully dark and sometimes lonely. Others felt mysterious or intimate. Congratulations to Jade L'Amour, the Spotlight Artist of the week. week 4.23.15 through 4.28.15 Theme: Night Other Favorites

We want to thank Angie McHenry for guest judging and choosing this very real human experience as a theme. Thank you to the artists that shared your raw images and stories. Even though grieving is individualized and personal, there is peace in understanding we don't walk alone. Congratulations to Sharon Covert Photography, the Spotlight Artist of the week. love and light, FF “I can't go back to yesterday because I was a different person then.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland week 4.15.15 through 4.22.15 Theme: Grief Other Favorites
Thank you all for sharing your "Shenanigans" this week. All of the images submitted gave me a good chuckle. Shenanigans is synonymous with childhood in our house. My kids are at their happiest when they have the freedom to get messy and let their curiosity take them wherever they want. I love how each image in this collection exudes joy and creativity. Regardless of whether you can see the emotion on the subject's face, you can still feel the excitement. Congrats to all those featured this week! xx, Heather week 4.8.15 through 4.14.15 theme: shenanigans Other Favorites

Thank you again to the incredibly talented Rebecca of Photography by Rebecca Leimbach for being our fabulous guest judge this week!! week 3.25.15 through 3.31.15 'up close' Here is what Rebecca had to say about the Spotlight Artist image: "I love everything about this image, it immediately draws you in. The angle at which it is taken and the composition are fantastic to me. The depth of field is perfection, giving just a hint of clarity to the nose. The conversion to black and white is an excellent choice as well." Other Favorites
