 I had such a fun time judging not only this theme, but on this page. The art of creating fantastically flawed images is a one of a kind, and it deserves to be celebrated. I am so grateful for this page that has opened doors and allowed such amazingly talented artists like all of you who submitted this week to shine in a different light. This was extremely difficult to judge. I am extremely honored that you have decided to share with me and grace me with your art. Thank you!! 

 I chose this image as the spotlight because it makes such a statement in its simplicity. The light literally bathing the subject is just magical. The rim light and the framing by the light leaks all force me to keep my eyes on the child, all while creating such mood and intriguing atmosphere- the effect is a very strong impact on me as a viewer. The monochromatic processing emphasizes light and shadow so strongly and strips the scene down to the bare essentials, to the point I have a hard time deciding whether the main subject is the child or the light itself. I love this image thoroughly, from head to toe.

 Such an awesome week of submissions.
I just want to thank you for all of your beautiful imagery and sharing your favorites with us. Considering these images are very personal to you all, it made it even harder, therefore I chose more than the ten I am supposed to, it just had to be done this week, there are 14. Sorry, sorry, sorry!! When you see them you will know why, and if my internet weren't so spotty today I would have added even more. I got lost in each one. Tremendous week!
