I chose Joni Burtt's image for spotlight artist after a lot of deliberation. Really thoughtful and beautiful work that came in, but this one I kept returning to. I loved the lowly lit place and shadowy frame of her body holding the light to the darkness, having a slightly symbolic and poetic little story.
