"The Dancer's body is simply the luminous manifestation of the soul" -Isadora Duncan Photography and Dance are two things I hold near to my heart and my biggest forms of release and expression. Places where you'll find 'the zone' or 'groove', that place where your worries fall away and you are simply free to be. I enjoyed each and every dance submission that was posted, I explored each image, and had a sense of wonderment at what was happening in each one and that for me was so enjoyable! Dance is the manifestation of the soul and truly fascinating to me, thank you for sharing! xx ~Holly Week of 5.21.14 through 5.27.14 Spotlight Artist and Top Ten Theme: "Dance" The Winner for this week's Dance theme -Jana Butman Photogaphy- All of the images spoke to me in some way, but I loved this creatively underexposed, dancing in your undies image by Jana. I liked that I couldn't see her face and this was all about the moves, and boy does she have them! I'm imagining she is listening to some Saturday Night Fever tracks or the Bee Gee's. Whatever it is, I want to hear it! I liked the challenging composition and side light here as well. Not too many people can get away with photos of people's backs but this is golden! Jam on little one....and stay luminous! Here were my other Favorites for this week! ~ Holly Thank you all so much for sharing your beautiful and imperfect images. This week was a treat! xx Holly Donovan | Holly Donovan Photo

I really enjoyed this weeks challenge. I started out as a film photographer and have always been drawn to chunky grain. Thanks for all the beautiful submissions, it was difficult to narrow it down to Just 10! Sarah Landa Photography web | facebook The past couple of weeks have been beautifully surreal for me. Not only was I given the amazing opportunity to join a photography page that makes my heart skip a beat, but I was able to choose a weekly favorites theme that I am seriously in love with.
