"It has been a wonderful experience being the guest judge this week for the theme of Pensive. So much of what makes us special as individuals is the different ways we are able to think about our selves, our friends and our world. I loved seeing the many different interpretations of a theme that, for me, is so central to life. It was incredibly difficult to judge, but the images I chose were some of the ones that really caused me to reflect and be pensive myself. I chose Sherri Davis Photography's photo as the winner this week. I love the scope of the image and how I was immediately drawn to the thoughtfulness of the little girl in the big world. Congratulations to everyone else! Thank you so much for the opportunity to judge this week. I chose "chaos" because it's something I think we are all met with in our usually mundane lives. It is the chaos that makes life interesting. It is those moments we don't expect that really make us realize that we are not just drifting along in space. We are all unique and special. I loved each and every image this week so choosing the top 10 was very difficult. The winner this week for the cover photo stood out to me because of the environmental elements and the chaos that is represented.
