We have such an incredible announcement, Julie Ormonde is the admin and founder of Distorted Beauty and she had this to say about this incredible new adventure we will all be embarking on: Distorted Beauty and Fantastically Flawed are two groups of the same mind, the same mission, and the same goals. We are absolute friends in the creative community. We both want a space that is comfortable for creatives to express themselves, to push outside the mainstream box, and their own internal box. We want a place for people to explore, learn, laugh, and grow together. We want a place that celebrates and cherishes the imperfect as perfect. The flawed as beauty. The distorted as fabulous. We have decided that the best way to do this is to join our communities together to create something more. More support, more conversations, and more fun! We plan to bring challenges, education, and a sense of family through all of our voices. We do hope you will find a home with us as “The Imperfectionists”. 01.15.18 through 10.21.18 For this mini challenge the motivation was simple, lets get this amazing group sharing their hearts out. Well, we were as usual left utterly breathless at the simply astonishing submissions and it was as difficult as ever to choose the top 10. Pretty near impossible I think as it took us well into the next challenge to choose. As we amped up our new community facebook group and new members started joining us to contribute to the absolutely lovely atmosphere we have seen blooming there we decided to encourage everyone to introduce themselves with some of their favourite flawed images and in order to be featured share them on our community wall with the hashtag "hello" so in the spirit of introducing our community to you properly, here is one image from every member who submitted to our very first theme.
