If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely. Roald Dahl 1.20.15 through 1.27.15 'Smile' Thank you for sharing this week This is one of those images that leaves a true impression, I had to keep coming back to it by Amanda Voelker. It has been said that photography is much like an invasion, I have to admit I feel as though I am right their with them in this sweet shared moment. I love the juxtaposition of their age and the sharp vs blurred focus of their faces. The warmth of this image, both in their atmosphere and in their faces, might just be the sweetest thing I've laid my eyes on in some time. Congrats Amanda! Amanda Voelker Photography Other Favorites

A photograph is a memento. It is unrivaled when it comes to the act of remembering. Time moves so quickly. There are so many memories that one creates in a lifetime. Many of them seem to slip away. But they are all still there stored away in some locked chamber. A single photograph can unlock a memory. It can bring about a flashback of a forgotten time. Thank you all for sharing your flashbacks with me. I loved looking at them. There was one image that I couldn't get enough of. It made me weak inside. I yearned to follow their radiant outlines. To keep up with them wherever they were going while at the same time call them back to stay there with me in that moment forever. xx, Heather "flashback" week 1.14.15 through 1.20.15 Other Favorites
Gorgeous images this week everyone. I strive to capture connections in my own work and it is a consistent theme that draws me in to others art. Every one of these images made my heart skip a beat! ~Sarah Landa "connection" week 1.7.15 through 1.13.15 Winner: Erin Hensley Photography I just love this image, the connection between the dancing siblings and the magical bokeh in the trees makes me swoon! Thank you Megan Axelsson Photography for being our first guest of 2015! 'Self' was a fitting theme for January, while many of us are taking this time to sit back and reflect, maybe reconcile or redo, and move forward in our work and personal lives. A self portrait forces us to see vulnerability, frailty, strength, so many things....whatever it may be, thank you for sharing these brave images. I know that Megan had a difficult time in choosing the top ten and a winner with the very personal nature of 'self'. Congrats to all of the winners! week 1.30.14 through 2.6.15 "Self" Spotlight Artist:: Sharon Covert Photography Top Ten
