Light is meaningful only in relation to darkness, and truth presupposes error. It is these mingled opposites which people our life, which make it pungent, intoxicating. We only exist in terms of this conflict, in the zone where black and white clash.

Thank you to all for sharing your beautiful monochrome and flawed images this week. I love a colorful image, but a black and white speaks of soul and substance for me. As usual, I want to choose them all. Your artistry and bravery in sharing your work is appreciated every day.

This one here stopped me in my tracks. The tones range from rich to muted, bright white and rich blacks and everything in between, not to mention it looks like a fairytale without the photoshop.

“Some see a weed, some see a wish.” What others may see and quickly turn their heads away from, I see beauty. With the right eye and perspective, everything is beautiful. To me that’s what a fantastically flawed image is all about - finding the beauty in the flawed. Thank you SO much for having me as a guest judge. This is one of my favorite pages - I love love a fantastically flawed image and there are so many beautiful ones that pour through this space. I really enjoyed seeing everyone’s interpretation of “wish”!
